As usuall, we are still busy as ever. Holden and Gunnar are defending the ward teams
undefeated record. It is fun to watch them play, and play together, they are both pretty good and getting better all the time. I have been ask more than once by the referees' if I would like to dawn the black and white stripes and join them. Of coarse my answer was no, only to hear their reply, " Well then I suggest you keep your comments to yourself...Brother Norton." It is really really hard not to comment on bad calls. Holden is always working on getting his muscles to grow, he is finally realizing that things don't happen overnight and that....hard work pays off. Gunnar is striving to be the first short White Man that can jump, he spends time every day (usually before homework) taking jump shot after jump shot.
As for Kaden, he is doing much better. he is getting alot of mobility back in his knee. After last weeks set back (playing ball in the front yard and slipping on the wet grass) we decided to hold him back for another couple games. You can see in the pictures that even though the knee isn't as tender anymore it is still quite disfigured. I think he faces alittle fear every time he thinks about taking another shot on the knee, as could be expected. He does ask everyday if he's going to play in the games. Tristen is really taking up the slack for him.. Last week in our game(which we lost, so sad) he had several long runs, and a few sakes and several tackles.
Ryker, is just Ryker. what more can be said.
